We recently got ourselves a new caravan and when preparing to get it ready for off grind living, high on the list was 12 volt fans to help us cope with the warmer weather. The Sirocco fans seem to be the popular choice of fans in caravans, they are quiet and efficient, yet pack a punch in moving air. So, I got 4 new Sirocco fans to install in our new caravan.

Do you really NEED a long range fuel tank to travel Australia.
After 4wding and touring around Australia for over 20 years and five of those as full time travellers, I share my opinions on using a long range fuel tank versus just using some Jerry cans to carry extra fuel.It certainly has made life a lot easier for us as we are on a caravanning adventure around Australia and on the long and remote trips such as crossing the Simpson desert.

Are Clearview towing mirrors worth the cost?
Are replacement towing mirrors such as Clearview, MSA or other brands worth the cost, or are attachment type mirrors good enough to do the job?I have used both types, attachment and Clearview replacement ones over the last 7 plus years, and I am sharing my opinion on If, when and why you should bother to go for the more expensive replacement mirrors.
